I finished a recent project for school on gluten free diets. My feelers are still out it seems for gluten free related information. This morning I came across an article by Melissa King on making gluten free cookies at home. Though I have yet to try it myself, they look very appetizing. Melissa also shares her decision to make them thinner after an initial attempt. Please try it out and let me know if you agree with her readers on this recipe.

I love making dashi for noodles; for cooking rice when making pilafs. Ever since the Tsunami incident in Japan, I always wondered if anybody is monitoring the seafood products that originate from Japan. How safe is the seaweed used for various Japanese or Japanese inspired dishes I like to eat?
